Why Should You Use a Prepaid iPhone?

by Admin on November 21, 2010

You might have heard about the new Apple iPhone 4 which is considered as the most advanced product because of its unique features and style. There are very few people out there who own an Apple iPhone because it is very expensive. The plans offered by AT&T are also very expensive. It is estimated that the monthly bills for an Apple iPhone is about 100 dollars. So, if you want to have an Apple iPhone but don’t have the money to pay the monthly bills then you can either buy a pre-paid sim card along with the phone or else you may purchase a prepaid iPhone directly.
Today there are numerous prepaid plans provided by AT&T along with Apple iPhone. If you want unlimited calls during night then you should go with “Pay by the Day Plan” with the help of which you will be able to make unlimited calls between 7 pm to 7 am by paying a supplementary amount of 1 dollar per day. The best part is that this amount will only be deducted from your account if you use this facility or else you will not be changed. If you select prepaid iPhone with domestic calling plan then you will be able to make domestic calls @ 10 cents per unit.

There are numerous other plans offered such as “Pay as you Go Plan” with the help of this prepaid plan you will be able to make calls for certain period of time by paying certain fixed prices like ten dollars for 30 minutes, 25 dollars for 130 minutes, 50 dollars for 400 minutes and 100 dollars for 1000 minutes. On the other hand if you avail “Gold Rewards Promo” along with your prepaid iPhone then you will be able to avail 15 percent additional minutes every time when you recharge your phone with 100 dollars. There are also other plans available for data usage. With the help of data usage plan you will get unlimited surfing of internet on your mobile, unlimited email, text messaging that too at 1 dollar per day. If you don’t select any domestic plan then you will be charged 15 cents for each domestic call.

“The rate per minute plan” may vary because it is completely dependent on the plan you select. If you select the “Pay by the Day Plan” then you have to pay ten cents for one minute if you make any domestic call but this plan is not covered by the unlimited night plan. There are four different refill cards available for “Pay as you Go Plan” and if you refill your phone with higher denomination then automatically the minutes will increase. If you stay with the normal prepaid iPhone plan then your domestic calls will be @ 15 cents. There is also individual text messaging plan available with the help of which you will be able to send instant message to your friends across the country @ 1 dollar per day. So, select your plan and be a proud owner of your new prepaid iPhone.

1) What are the increments that you can buy on a prepaid sim card?
2) Can you get all the services on the prepaid sim card like you can with a monthly service, i.e., web access, GPS, text, talk, etc?
3) After you get the sim card activiated, when you add additional minutes to the phone, will AT & T be able to know by then that you are using an iphone?

If I got the new iPhone 4s but it was locked to AT&T if i went there for my go phone sim it would still work fine? Or does it have to be an unlocked phone? And I would just get the unlimited go plan but does that effect the data coverage? Internet? I’m sure it works but I just wanna be thurough before I go spending tons of money I can’t afford and then I get screwed.. Any feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks..

if You get the unlimited data plan for your prepaid iphone, will you still have access to all the apps and such? it seems like any kind of prepaid plan would not allow you to even if it is an iphone..
